Study plans

Content is the material; a study plan is how it reaches people. Plans are what access links attach to, and what the counts in the user list are counting.

What study plans are good for

The plan is the unit the space works with: it is what gets assigned, what access links attach to, and what the user list counts. Anyone who wants to get content to people reaches for a plan, not for an individual course.

• Every new employee has to go through the same set of training. You build one plan, put all the courses in it, and add people to it. When the next person joins, you do not assign five courses, you assign one plan.
• Safety training has to be repeated every year. On the course’s assignment inside the plan you set a recurrence interval in days. The decision is stored on the assignment, not in an HR colleague’s notes, and can be checked at any time.
• You are looking for a plan that came with a purchase. Switch to Zakoupené plány. The space has dozens of plans from the start, and this category separates bought ones from those the space wrote itself. You do not have to tell them apart by name.
• A plan is Aktivní but nobody is learning. Look at the Uživatelé column. A plan can be active with 0 people; Aktivní describes the plan, not its audience. You save yourself looking for a fault in the content.

What the categories tell you

E-learning and Blended Learning are separate categories, and Blended Learning has an archive of its own while E-learning does not.

Zakoupené plány is a category of its own, so a plan bought from another space stays distinguishable from one this space wrote.

What to watch for

The Uživatelé column reads 0 for both plans here — a plan can exist and be Aktivní without reaching anyone. Active describes the plan, not its audience.
